SME Essentials is being developed as a proportionate assessment pathway for smaller organisations. We confirm its availability and suitability before you begin.
The pathway is intended for independently owned organisations and controlled groups with fewer than 250 workers, subject to context and eligibility checks. This is a NatureSynth pathway rule, not a statutory definition of an SME.
Manufacturing, hazardous operations, land impacts and other relevant exposures may require more detailed questions.
An SME Essentials result covers that edition. It does not imply the same coverage as full Core or Integrated assessment.
Any recognition pathway requires the applicable active scheme, evidence and authorised review. An assessment purchase does not guarantee an award.
What you do, where you operate and any parent or group arrangements.
Customer requests, operational issues or decisions that prompted the assessment.
The documents and examples available, and who can explain them.
The people and time you can commit to the work.
Tell us about your business and its activities so we can discuss a proportionate starting point.
