Website Terms

Version 1.0 · Effective 2026-10-02

1. About these Website Terms

These terms govern your use of https://naturesynth.com/, its public resources, enquiry form and NatureSynth AI Agent. The operator is NATURESYNTH LTD, trading as NatureSynth, with a business contact address at 9, Race Course Road, Kaduna, Nigeria. Registration details: 8385248. Questions about these terms can be sent to info@naturesynth.com. The website introduces our sustainability and climate-related tools and services. NatureSynth OS application access, paid assessments, specialist engagements, learning programmes and any recognition service have their own applicable offers, terms and scope. These Website Terms do not replace them. If you use such a service, review the terms presented for that service before proceeding. The current version and effective date appear on this page. The chat and enquiry form ask you to acknowledge the applicable terms before submission. Merely visiting a public page does not constitute consent to AI processing, marketing or an unrelated future contract.

2. Who may use the interactive services?

You must be at least 18 to use the chatbot or enquiry form. If you communicate on behalf of an organisation, you must be authorised to make the enquiry and share the information you provide. An organisational selection on a form does not verify that authority or bind the organisation to a paid engagement. You can read public information without creating an application account. An introduction in website chat is not registration for NatureSynth OS, and a self-reported email address is not identity verification. Do not impersonate another person, misstate your authority or use another person's details without permission.

3. Nature and scope of website information

Public pages, articles, guides and chat replies explain our approach and general sustainability concepts. They do not, on their own, constitute a site inspection, legal opinion, regulatory determination, financial recommendation, engineering design, occupational-health instruction or other tailored professional service. Where a decision depends on local obligations, technical expertise or verified facts, obtain appropriate assistance and agree the required scope. We aim to describe our services accurately. An available web page or expression of interest does not establish that every service is active in every country. Features, availability, delivery arrangements and any price need to be confirmed in the relevant current offer or written engagement. We will not treat marketing descriptions or automated answers as a replacement for agreed deliverables.

4. Assessment outputs and recognition

A diagnostic assessment summarises reported practice within a defined scope. An evidence-reviewed assessment adds the review described in that service. Neither automatically establishes that all legal, buyer, environmental or social requirements have been satisfied. The product, edition, reporting period, organisational boundary, evidence position and review status are essential to interpreting a result. References to standards, frameworks or external organisations do not imply accreditation, endorsement or universal acceptance by regulators, customers or investors. Any recognition or certification pathway requires a separately active scheme, stated eligibility and evidence requirements, and its authorised decision process. Paying a fee or completing questions does not guarantee a favourable result or an award. Do not alter a NatureSynth report to remove qualifications, extend its scope, change its validity or imply a stronger review than it received. A result for one site, period or edition should not be represented as covering another. Comparisons require a justified and sufficiently aligned basis, rather than an assumption that every displayed score is interchangeable.

5. Using NatureSynth AI Agent

The assistant is intended for questions about NatureSynth, navigating this website, understanding assessment routes and learning general sustainability, climate, carbon, environmental-management and related concepts. It can suggest published website pages or a configured application link. It does not access private application accounts or perform assessment scoring, purchases, bookings, evidence review or contract acceptance for you. The assistant is an automated system and may misunderstand a question, rely on incomplete reference material or produce an inaccurate answer. Verify important information with our team and the relevant primary source. Chat replies are not binding quotations, guarantees, official decisions or promises of eligibility, certification, funding or regulatory acceptance. If our staff confirms a service, its written scope and applicable terms govern. Public reference material can be refreshed as our website changes. This does not mean the system continually retrains itself or that visitors can teach it new official facts by typing them into chat. Keep your questions within its stated scope. The assistant may decline unrelated topics, request clarification or direct you to a person.

6. Fair use and prohibited activity

Please use the service reasonably and respectfully. Do not attempt to bypass usage limits, create automated traffic, extract system instructions or credentials, gain unauthorised access, submit malicious code or mislead the assistant into treating visitor text as official NatureSynth policy. Do not send unlawful, abusive or infringing material, disclose another person's confidential information, or use the service to facilitate harm. Do not paste passwords, access tokens, payment-card details, identity documents, medical records or confidential assessment evidence into this public service. The absence of an automatic warning is not confirmation that a message is suitable to share. Our general enquiry form does not accept evidence-file attachments. We apply request, conversation and API-usage limits and may pause or restrict interactive access where needed for security, service capacity, legal compliance or suspected abuse. We aim to apply restrictions proportionately. You can contact us through the published contact route to query a restriction. Restrictions do not remove non-excludable consumer rights or erase a separately agreed obligation.

7. Enquiries and follow-up

The enquiry form collects the information needed to route and respond to your request. Check your details before submitting. A submission reference confirms that the website saved an enquiry; it does not confirm that an email reached a recipient or that a requested service has been accepted. Delivery problems can occur, and urgent matters should be raised through an appropriate confirmed route. We may respond to an enquiry using the contact details you provide for that purpose. Optional permission for further follow-up is separate. Chatting, submitting a form or accepting these terms does not subscribe you to a newsletter. We do not promise a particular response time unless one has been expressly agreed. Please avoid repeatedly submitting the same enquiry; retain its reference when following up.

8. Paid work and separate agreements

No payment is collected by this website's chatbot or native enquiry form. A discussion is not a binding sale. Before paid work begins, the relevant offer or agreement should identify the parties, service scope, deliverables, price and taxes where applicable, payment arrangements, responsibilities, timing and applicable cancellation or refund terms. Nothing in these Website Terms introduces a blanket no-refund rule, waives a consumer guarantee or excludes a remedy that applicable law provides. If a separate contract contains additional terms, those terms apply only within their lawful scope. An AI reply cannot amend a signed agreement or override a mandatory legal obligation.

9. Intellectual property and public resources

NatureSynth's branding, original website copy, software and proprietary assessment materials are owned by or licensed to the relevant rights holder. You may view the public website and use explicitly downloadable resources for the purpose and on the terms stated with them. Unless a resource's licence permits it or applicable law provides an exception, do not sell, redistribute, republish or present proprietary material as your own. You may share a link to a public page and accurately identify NatureSynth as the source. Do not use our name or logo to imply sponsorship, partnership or certification without appropriate permission. Third-party names, marks and standards remain the property of their owners. A displayed relationship label identifies the stated relationship only. We do not claim ownership of information you submit. You permit us to process it only as needed for the purposes described in the Privacy Notice and the request you make. These terms do not grant a licence to publish your conversation, sell your personal information or use confidential submissions to train a model.

10. Third-party links and technical availability

Links can take you to NatureSynth OS or other independently operated websites. Their notices and terms may differ. A link does not necessarily indicate endorsement, and we cannot control an external page's continuing accuracy, availability or handling of information. Review the destination before entering sensitive information or paying for a service. The website may be interrupted for maintenance, provider issues, security incidents or events beyond reasonable control. We take reasonable steps to maintain the service and correct identified problems, but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. Do not rely on website chat as the sole repository of important information or as a time-critical monitoring service.

11. Responsibility and your statutory rights

Responsibility for loss arising from the website or a service is determined by applicable law and any valid service agreement. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits responsibility for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, negligence, defective performance or any other matter to the extent exclusion or limitation is prohibited. We do not require you to waive consumer rights, data-protection rights or access to lawful remedies. You remain responsible for the accuracy of information you knowingly provide and for considering whether general information is appropriate for your intended use. This statement does not excuse misleading representations by NatureSynth or transfer to you obligations that the law places on us. No broad consumer indemnity or arbitrary liability cap is imposed by these Website Terms.

12. Concerns, disputes and changes

Contact info@naturesynth.com with the relevant page, enquiry or assessment reference and an explanation of the issue. We will consider the matter and identify an appropriate response or review route. A website complaint is distinct from a formal assessment appeal; the applicable scheme or engagement explains any appeal process. You retain the right to approach a regulator, consumer-protection body or court where the law permits. These Website Terms are framed for a NatureSynth business operating from Nigeria and are governed by Nigerian law, subject to mandatory protections that may apply in your place of residence. They do not impose exclusive foreign jurisdiction, mandatory arbitration or a waiver of statutory remedies. Any later service requiring a different lawful arrangement should explain it before agreement. We may update these terms prospectively and will show the new version and effective date. Material changes to the interactive service require renewed acknowledgement before an existing chat continues. A change does not retrospectively rewrite an earlier contract, validate earlier unlawful processing or remove an accrued right. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions apply only to the extent they can lawfully do so.
